MJ Johnston brings over 15 years of experience creating for independent film, global brands, and critically acclaimed productions. A graduate of the Art Institute of Chicago, MJ blends artistic intuition with strategic precision, crafting work that stands out for both its impact and depth.
Their journey as a filmmaker has taken them to Costa Rica, South Korea, Japan, and Mexico, where they’ve captured stories shaped by diverse landscapes and cultures. These experiences inform MJ’s approach, weaving global perspectives into every project.

Jonatan Sandoval Leyva
Director of Visual Strategy + Execution
Jonatan Sandoval is a filmmaker and strategist whose career blends technical mastery with artistic vision. Raised in Phoenix, Arizona by immigrant parents, Jonatan discovered his passion for filmmaking in high school, landing his first role on a feature film set at 18. After college, he moved to Austin, quickly earning a reputation for his technical expertise and calm leadership under pressure.
With experience spanning documentary and narrative film, Jonatan has worked in nearly every facet of production, from pre- to post-production, bringing a deep understanding of what it takes to tell a story on screen. His career has taken him across the U.S. and internationally to places like China and Jamaica.
